Our new piece of furniture!
Looks like Ms. Sarah was here!
We got a new-to-us hutch the other day. I've been looking for one for quite a while. I definitely learned patience from the adoption because I was very patient waiting to find just the right one. I knew exactly what I was looking for. I'm very happy with it. It holds all my pottery with room for more. Allen did not see this as an opportunity to buy more pottery.
The other pictures are ones I took of Sarah today. She is walking more and more and boot-scooting less and less. You can normally tell where she has been, especially if she's been in the snack cabinet. I found her a walk behind toy today at a garage sale. I had gone to the commissary today and I passed a garage sale on the way home. I happened to see the walk behind toy. It was only $2. What a bargain.
Caleb had a soccer game yesterday. They won 2-1 and he scored one of the goals. So far they have won 2 games and tied 1 game.
I won't be working this week. We have Allen's retirement classes. I'm sure the next 14 months will fly by. We are trying to cram all the trips in that we haven't taken yet. I'm sure that will help the time go by.

I Love My Job!
I've decided that I'm not completely sure I'm going back to school yet. I'm pretty sure I will one day, just maybe not yet. I truly love subbing. I love that I get to interact with lots of different kids from different classes and grade levels. I know that I can sub in Indiana with the degree that I have right now. I know I would be taking a paycut, but at least I could still sub. We'll just have to see.
Sarah has gone to daycare this week and three days last week. She's done so good. She didn't even cry yesterday or today. Her provider said she took the kids she had to the bank today and the ladies there asked her "Is that Sarah?". She said she's a superstar. How funny! I guess that's what happens when you're in the paper. Otherwise, she's doing really good and starting to walk more. One of these days she'll leave the bootscoot behind and never look back. Oh help me when that day comes!

Helping with laundry
Sarah was helping me with laundry the other day. She found a pair of Daniel undies and was trying to put them on her head or wherever she could. As you can see, she's also starting to stand by herself. She's also taken a few steps, but only when prompted to do so. She won't take them without being asked to do so. I'm sure it won't be long before she's off and running though!
Back to School!
Blocking blog
I'll try to get new pictures on today. I know most of you check to see pictures of the little princess. Hopefully they will be available soon!
