The boys' basketball season started today. Caleb had an away game. In the 8 minutes that he played, he scored 6 points. Then he fouled out. Guess he'll learn pretty quick that this isn't street ball. Joshua had a great game and scored 19 of their 29 points. Both Caleb and Joshua's teams won their games. And Daniel, well the 7-8 year olds (and younger) are just in their own little world. Daniel did score one of the seven baskets scored. After Joshua's game, we stayed and watched Caleb's girlfriend's game. He made it to the last 10 seconds of the game. They tied their game. It was a really good day.
Allen got an award last week. He won SNCO (senior nco) of the Quarter. I'm so proud of him. I have the best husband in the world. When I tell him that, he asks "What did I do?" It's not what he necessarily did, it's who he is that makes him the best. I'm so thankful for him. Oh, and he found out if he signs his retirement paperwork, his offical retirement date will be February 1, 2010. Hopefully we would leave here 60 days prior to that. That would put us home for Christmas next year.

I can't wait till Jamie is all into sports. Ainslee is doing ballet and tap, and I love watching her.
I so wish I could finally be home once and for all for Christmas. I know that we are going to enjoy the military, but I am so looking to the day we retire!!!
