A friend and I went to Ramstein today. We took ALL our children (between the two of us that equals 8, yes 8 children). We decided we were going to eat at the new Macaroni Grill that just opened up a few weeks ago.
Anyway, on the way down there, it occured to me that I find it absolutely normal to drive 90 mph on the Autobahn (interstate). I'm not quite sure what I will do when we move back to the States since I have no idea what the speed limit is on the interstates anymore. I guess I should make sure my cruise control works. I also realized that in our construction zones we drive 60 mph. I'm sure I will feel like a turtle.
The Macaroni Grill was yummy! I had never eaten there before. I really liked it. Guess we will use the gift card that we got for Christmas there before we leave ~ which is only 90 days!!!

It is an adjustment. It feels like you are going so slow.
Hope all is well with you guys and you are enjoying your last summer in Europe. Oh how I miss it there.
It is an awful, awful adjustment. I don't like it at all. My wallet doesn't like it much either.
I'm just saying.
After a year, I finally feel used to the slower speed limits. Cruise control is definitely your friend!! I don't drive any highway without it!!
I frequently catch myself speeding! LOL
