You know it's broken when.....

You know your toe is broken when it's at a 45 degree angle from where it started and it doesn't move back on it's own. Yes, I'm talking about me. I was going downstairs to put on my shoes this morning and kicked the suitcase in the hall. I immediately knew it was broken. They couldn't get me in at the base until 2:30 this afternoon, so my friend went with me to the krankenhaus in Bitburg. The doctor confirmed that it is most definitly broken. It needs to be taped for 3-4 weeks and they gave me crutches. Oh, by they way, they told me I could keep them for next time. Ha! Ha!

Oh and something I just realized today: in the next presidental election our oldest son will be old enough to vote!

Which toe was it? Was it your big toe or your little toe or one in between? You are such a goof, but I know that it could be me. Oh yes....it could be me.

Now with pictures......I feel your pain. How many times has one of your children stepped on your foot to date? Just kidding. Oh and I should be learning something from your experience but I'm not currently. I still have stuff waiting to go to Goodwill sitting in my hallway.

Yeeeouch! I broke my pinky toe about 10 years ago and I bruised all the way up my leg. It really stinks - use it as an excuse to make the guys do all the housework :)

Why would you go and do a silly thing like that when you leave on Monday. Good thing you didn't do it while we were there...that would have really put a damper of things. Has ice helped any? Miss you.
