After who knows exactly how many hours, we are finally in China. We left Detroit and had a connection in Tokyo-Narita. Then we caught another plane to Beijing. We met 2 other families in our group in Indy and another 2 in Detroit. It was a LONG trip and we are glad to be in China. Tomorrow we will do some sight seeing. We learned today that most people take the bus everywhere because it is so cheap. The exchange rate is $1 to 6.90 yuan. It costs .40 yuan to ride the bus. Maybe we should think about that in the US with the price of gas the way it is. We also learned that right now they are having their Labor Day holiday which is 3 days. Most of the time when they get a holiday they get 7 days.
Now we're ready get some sleep. Boys, we miss you lots. Thank you to everyone who is keeping them for us. We miss you all!

Yeah!!!!!!!! I am so excited for you guys. I was taking the kids out of the car today and remebered that you flew out and had to come check to see if you had any updates. I am waiting very patiently for pictures :O) Miss you guys!
